The Premier Group is currently looking for Pipefitters of all levels to join our team to work on various commercial projects located in San Antonio, TX, and the surrounding area. 1+ years of experience preferred, but not required. Responsibilities of the Apprentice/Journeyman Pipefitters:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of metallurgy
- Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and arc welding
- Knowledge in Stele
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
- Coordinate with other trades on site
- Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace
- Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites
Requirements of the Apprentice/ Journeyman Pipefitters:
- 2+ years of commercial experience preferred
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Reliable transportation with a good work ethic
- Ability to pass a drug screen required
